Are you ready for the 2027 AAU Karate Central District/ Illinois State Championship?

Compete against some of the best AAU karateka in the Midwest.  Each year this event featured karateka from Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky and more.

The Central District/ Illinois State Championship is a qualifier for the AAU Karate Nationals and the AAU Junior Olympic Games.

  • Traditional Kobudo
  • Team Kata
  • Kumite - Sanbon
  • Ultimate Rotational Kumite
  • Kihon Divisions (for beginners 5-7 year olds)
  • Inclusive Kata/ Kobudo/ Kihon (for para and special needs karateka)
  • Unified Team Kata for Inclusive Karateka
