The World Union of Karate-Do Federations (WUKF) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) are pleased to invite you to the North American Open an international karate tournament, featuring top karateka from around the world.
Where: Las Vegas, NV - USA
When: April 3-5, 2026
This event is open to all karateka regardless of style, rank, dojo or federation affiliations. Youth divisions start at age 5. All ranks welcome. Whether you are just beginning your competition career or are a seasoned competitor you don't want to miss this event.

Prizes for Advanced Competitors
Exciting news, at the 2026 North American Open the following divisions will be eligible for cash prizes:
*** if a division has less than four athletes, it will be ineligible for the prize money. Competitors in those divisions will have the option to bump up a weight division so they can compete for prize money.
Athletes, 36 and over may elect to compete in the 18-35 divisions. Youth athletes are not allowed to opt up into the adult divisions.
Prize payments will be made via PayPal, so you will need to have a PayPal account established to receive awards.
