- AAU Cares Fundraiser -
Cornhole Tournament
Do you know about the AAU Cares?
The AAU strives to provide athletes with first-class athletic opportunities but, beyond the athletic surface, we strongly believe in instilling a sense of social responsibility in our 800,000 members nationwide. AAU Cares is our way of giving back to the community.
To help fundraise we will be holding a mini-cornhole event, with all proceeds going to a local charity.
Entry Fee: $10/ game.
Compete either as an individual or as a team.
Teams will alternate throws, first team to ten wins.
Each match will be limited to 10 minutes, at the end of regulation time the time with the most points wins.
Funds raised from the Cornhole Tournament will go to the Northern Illinois Special Recreation Association (NISRA)

Tentative Schedule
This year we will be changing the event schedule for Central, we are testing an idea to improve the efficiency.
Kata and kobodu divisions for age groups will run back to back, meaning as soon as you finish one division you do the second division. All kata and kobudo divisions will be preassigned to rings. If you go the Uventex page, you will be able to check your division and see the rings assignments.
Athletes 5-7 will do all these divisions back to back (unless we had to combine you with another division to ensure you have competition).
All Kata and Kobudo divisions will go straight to their rings to compete, and not report to staging.
Kumite- Athletes will report to staging and from staging be assigned to a ring.
Need help finding your division?
Go to Uventex.com
Make sure your email and mobile number are entered into your athlete profile in Uventex. This will ensure you get notifications when your division is staging and where to go.
Advanced competitors 36+ you will do all your events back to back. Advanced competitors 36+ will compete at 9:00 AM. We hope when you finish you will be able to assist officiate the remainder of the day.
